The World of Concrete was held January 22-25 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. 

Despite a slow start to the show, and amidst rumors that attendance was down, traffice at the COX booth was steady and the show was deemed successful for the Company.  It is still being debated what drew more attention, the fire at Mandalay Bay or the 50th Anniversary cake being served at the COX booth, as both were unexpected and exciting for those walking the show.

The booth was manned by Kari Ream-National Sales Manager, Tom Ellis-Account Manager and Victoria Ringler-Chief Operating Officer of COX North America, Inc. (U.S. Division) as well as by Fred Lumb-Managing Director of the Cox Group (U.K.).

2008 is a significant year for the Cox Group as it was 50 years ago that the company was started.
